The Official Information clause governs the handling, disclosure, and protection of information that is classified as official or sensitive by a government or public authority. Typically, this clause outlines the obligations of parties to comply with relevant laws and regulations regarding the release or withholding of such information, and may specify procedures for responding to information requests or managing confidential data. Its core practical function is to ensure that all parties adhere to legal requirements for official information, thereby protecting sensitive data and maintaining compliance with public sector transparency and privacy obligations.
Official Information. The Federation shall be furnished one (1) electronic copy of minutes, agendas, and related study materials at the same time and in the same form as those furnished the public and the Board of Trustees. Nothing in this section shall be construed to diminish the President's right to privileged correspondence with the Board of Trustees. To assist the Federation in carrying out its role as the bargaining agent for academic employees, the College upon request shall furnish to the Federation information in the same form available to the general public. Such information shall include names and available addresses and telephone numbers of academic employees. The College agrees to provide updated lists before the 15th working day of each quarter.
Official Information. The parties acknowledge that they are each subject to the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) and that they may be obliged to disclose Confidential Information under the OIA if so requested and there is no good reason under the terms of the OIA to withhold that information. Each party acknowledges the importance of the other party's commercially sensitive Confidential Information and will: (a) promptly notify the other party of any request received by it under the OIA that relates to Confidential Information of that other party; and (b) consult with the other party in relation to the Confidential Information that it is required to disclose under the OIA to comply with that request.
Official Information. The Custodian shall notify the Client of all official notices, circulars, reports and announcements received by the Custodian in such capacity concerning the Securities held on the Client’s behalf that require discretionary action.
Official Information. The Bank shall notify the Client of all official notices, circulars, reports and announcements received by the Bank in such capacity concerning the Securities held in any Securities Account that require discretionary action and will exercise reasonable efforts to do so within such time as will reasonably enable the Client to undertake such discretionary action; provided that the Bank shall receive any such information sufficiently in advance of the deadline for such discretionary action to be able to notify the Client in accordance with its customary operating procedures.

Official Information. 10.2.1. Employees may have access to official Australian government information and documents. This includes information stored electronically. Circumstances in which access to official information is allowed are outlined in legislation. Employees may release official information which would normally be given to any member of the public asking for that information. 10.2.2. Ways in which official information can be misused include: leaking information; ▪ use of information for personal or financial gain; ▪ taking advantage of a person on the basis of information gained from confidential records; ▪ providing false statements or information; and ▪ removing, altering or destroying official records. 10.2.3. Engaging in such activities is unacceptable and may lead to prosecution and/or breach of the code of conduct action. 10.2.4. Employees are required to protect the privacy of individuals in official dealings. Employees should be familiar with the Information Privacy Principles as set down in the Privacy Act 1988. 10.2.5. Employees with access to national security and sensitive material have a responsibility to protect that information. 10.2.6. The misuse of official information and documents outside official purposes is prohibited.
Official Information. 12.1 The Combined Justice Sector Agencies are subject to the requirements of the Official Information Act 1982 ("OIA"). 12.2 The Combined Justice Sector Agencies and the Ministers may be required in accordance with the OIA to disclose information that it holds relating to this Relationship Agreement (e.g. relationship meeting minutes).
Official Information. During the course of their work, the Contractor and all his staff may be given access to confidential, classified or secret information. The Contractor and all his staff shall be required to sign an undertaking to safeguard such official information before the commencement of the Works.
Official Information. In relation to Official Information, the Operator must: (a) if and when requested by the Department, arrange for it and its Personnel to promptly execute a declaration of interest and deed of non-disclosure, in a form reasonably required by the Department, relating to the use and non-disclosure of Official Information in connection with this Agreement; (b) promptly notify and disclose to the Department any conflict of interest affecting it or its Personnel that may impact on security in the performance of the Operator's obligations with respect to Official Information under this Agreement; (c) promptly inform, and keep informed, its Personnel in respect of all of the Department's security requirements and the Operator's security obligations under this Agreement, including that the obligation to maintain confidentiality of Official Information is ongoing (notwithstanding termination or expiry of this Agreement or the Personnel's involvement with this Agreement); and (d) ensure that its Personnel have and use systems that meet the designated information security standards under the Australian Government Information Security Manual, for the electronic processing, storage, transmission and disposal of Official Information.
Official Information. The Grant Recipient acknowledges that the Council has statutory obligations relating to the disclosure of information and public accountability, including under the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987, the Public Records Act 2005 and the Public Audit Act 2001.
