Ohio Retirement System. 9.11.1 All individuals employed by the Consultant that provide personal services to the State are not public employees for the purposes of ORC Chapter 145, as amended. 9.11.2 If the Consultant is a PERS retirant, as defined by ORC Section 145.38, the Consultant shall notify the State of such status in writing prior to commencement of Work. The State is not responsible for changes to the Consultant’s retirement benefits resulting from entering into this Agreement.
