Common use of Oil Pollution Responsibility Certificate Clause in Contracts

Oil Pollution Responsibility Certificate. Buyer warrants that the Vessel shall comply with the U.S. Water Pollution Control Act and the U.S. Oil Pollution Act of 1990 (OPA 1990), and regulations issued pursuant thereto, and shall have secured and carry onboard a current U.S. Coast Guard Certificate of Financial Responsibility (Water Pollution). Vessels shall also have onboard any other federal or state Proof of Financial Responsibility Certificate that may be required at the Cargo Transfer Point. All expenses and time lost as a result of a breach of this warranty shall be for Xxxxx’s account.
