Common use of Only Members in Good Standing Clause in Contracts

Only Members in Good Standing. The Company shall employ only members in good standing with the Union, as defined by the Union’s constitution and by-laws. For the purposes of this Agreement, a duly authorized Union Work Permit shall also constitute good standing with the Union. Failure to show good standing with the Union shall be sufficient reason and just cause for dismissal.
