OPENING TIMES. 7.1 Our opening hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. We cannot guarantee to be available outside of these hours, but we will try to offer as much flexibility as possible.
OPENING TIMES. Alphabet Nurseries are open for fifty one weeks per year, closing for one week over Christmas/New Year and half day on Christmas Eve. The nurseries are also closed on all public bank holidays. Should it be necessary, due to unforeseen circumstances, to close the nurseries, notice will be given, unless in an emergency situation (e.g. building/facilities damage). There will be no charge for public bank holidays or nursery closure days. Opening hours for a standard day are 0800 to 1800. There are a limited number of places available from 0730. 0730 to 0800 incurs a charge in addition to the standard charges. Invoicing and Charges Charges are as agreed at the time of arranging the child’s placement at nursery and are subject to any subsequent increases as notified to the parent/carer in writing. All charges will be subject to an annual increase which will not necessarily be applied on the anniversary of starting. Parents/carers will be given one month’s notice of this fee increase. Alphabet Nurseries reserve the right to apply a fee increase outside the annual increase should specific costs increase beyond their control. Parents/carers will be given one month’s notice of such a fee increase. Invoices will be issued prior to the 1st of each month. Invoices are calculated for the forthcoming month based on the child’s normal attendance and not averaged over the year. Adjustments for pre-agreed closure periods mentioned above will be made on the relevant month’s invoice. Other invoice adjustments e.g. for extra hours used will be invoiced in arrears on the following month’s invoice. Alphabet Nurseries reserve the right to make adjustments to subsequent invoices in order to correct previous invoice errors. Alphabet Nurseries have a regulatory requirement to maintain a daily register of the start/finish time of each child attending nursery. Parents/carers are therefore required to co-operate in ensuring the accuracy of such registers. Alphabet Nurseries also have a regulatory requirement to a/ maintain staff to children ratios and b/ to ensure the number of children attending at any one time does not exceed the maximum number that Ofsted have approved and as is outlined on the nursery Ofsted Registration Certificate. It is therefore vital that children only attend for the hours booked and the parent/carer agrees to deliver/collect their child within the agreed hours.
