OPERATING DURING A DECLARED EMERGENCY. ‌ Upon declaration of any emergency VCTC may be requested to assist with a number of transportation-related activities, including the development of emergency travel routes, and the coordination with other agencies supplying common carrier services. In the event of a declared emergency, the Contractor shall deploy vehicles in a manner described by the VCTC Executive Director or his/her designee. However, VCTC shall be obligated to compensate the Contractor for Service, which significantly exceeds the normal expense of operating the service during such period of declared emergency.
