Common use of Operating Late Clause in Contracts

Operating Late. 21.1 Employees in regularly assigned service, arriving at the home terminal too late to be released from duty prior to the time required to report for duty for their regular assignment, shall be paid a basic day at the minimum rate applicable to the class of service to which assigned for each trip or tour of duty so lost on their assignment, less any amount earned. The provisions of this Article will not apply to employees in assigned pool freight service who work first-in, first-out.
