Common use of Operation of the Hospital Clause in Contracts

Operation of the Hospital. The Concessionaire shall at all times procure that: (a) the Hospital is clean and hygienic; (b) there is adequate lighting within the Hospital in conformity with the Specifications and Standards; (c) the temperature inside the necessary areas of the Hospital such ICU, laboratory, operation theatre, etc. is maintained according to Good Industry Practice and the Specifications and Standards; (d) the hours of availability of all services provided by the Hospital conform to Good Industry Practice and are posted on the Hospital website and displayed prominently in the Hospital; (e) all the Healthcare Services, excluding the OPD Services, as may be required in accordance with Good Industry Practice and Applicable Laws, are available 24 (twenty four) hours a day and on all days in a year; (f) the OPD Services are available at the Hospital at least from Monday to Saturday of each week between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm; (g) Emergency Services are available at the Hospital at all times with adequately trained Human Resource to provide these Emergency Services; (h) adequate power back-up is available at the Hospital and is ready for use in case of any power outage; and (i) all lifts, public address systems and lighting systems function efficiently.
