Common use of Optical Plug Clause in Contracts

Optical Plug. The optical interface shall use a duplex SC optical plug that conforms to IEC 61754-4. Only the floating duplex style connector plug shall be used. Rigid SC duplex connectors shall not be used. Connector keys are used for transmit / receive polarity. NOTE: Floating Duplex SC Connectors use two simplex connectors and mechanically couple them together to create 1 connector that retains both, but allows both connectors to 'float', within the specified tolerance.
