F.2.1 The District may extend the term of this contract for a period of four (4) one-year option periods, or successive fractions thereof, by written notice to the Contractor before the expiration of the contract; provided that the District will give the Contractor preliminary written notice of its intent to extend at least thirty (30) days before the contract expires.
