Common use of Options are Personal Clause in Contracts

Options are Personal. The option to extend granted herein is personal to the original Tenant and any Affiliated Corporation executing this Lease and notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in the Lease, the rights contained in this Addendum are not assignable or transferable by such original Tenant except to any Affiliated Corporation as permitted under Paragraph 12A. Landlord grants the rights contained herein to Tenant in consideration of Tenant’s strict compliance with the provisions hereof, including, without limitation, the manner of exercise of this option.
