Common use of Options Personal Clause in Contracts

Options Personal. Each Option granted to Tenant in this Lease is personal to the original Tenant and may be exercised only by the original Tenant while occupying the Premises, doing so without the intent of thereafter assigning this Lease or subletting the Premises or any portion thereof, and may not be exercised or be assigned, voluntarily or involuntarily, by or to any person or entity other than the original Tenant.

Options Personal. Each Option granted to Tenant in this Lease is personal to the original Tenant and may be exercised only by the original Tenant while occupying the Premises, doing so without the intent of thereafter assigning this Lease or subletting the Premises or any portion thereof, and may not be exercised or be assigned, voluntarily or involuntarily, by or to any person or entity other than Tenant, provided, however, the original TenantOption may be assigned to any Tenant Affiliate as defined in Paragraph 12.2 of this Lease who is an assignee of that Lease or any assignee of the Lease approved by Landlord pursuant to Paragraph 12. The Options herein granted to Tenant are not assignable separate and apart from this Lease.

The Options, if any, granted to Tenant while occupying the Premises, doing so without the intent of thereafter assigning under this Lease are not assignable separate and apart from this Lease, nor may any Option be separated from this Lease in any manner, either by reservation or subletting the Premises or any portion thereof, and may not be exercised or be assigned, voluntarily or involuntarily, by or to any person or entity other than the original Tenantotherwise.
