Common use of Other Additional Rent Clause in Contracts

Other Additional Rent. Further, Lessee shall pay, also as Additional Rent, all other sums and charges required to be paid by Lessee under this lease, and any tax or excise on rents, gross receipts tax, or other tax, however described, which is levied or assessed by the United States of America or the state in which the Office Complex is located or any political subdivision thereof, against Lessor in respect to the Base Rent, Additional Rent, or other charges reserved under this Lease or as a result of Lessor's receipt of such rents or other charges accruing under this Lease; provided, however, Lessee shall have no obligation to pay gross or net income or franchise taxes of Lessor.
