Other Compensation Terms for Per Diem Substitutes. 1. Any regularly appointed teacher who has been laid off by the School Dis- trict, or any employee who was a long-term substitute teacher in the previous year and who serves as a per diem substitute teacher shall be paid at the daily rate specified in the Agreement as if he/she had worked the required twenty- two (22) teacher days in the preceding or in the current school year.
