Common use of Other Locations and Systems Clause in Contracts

Other Locations and Systems. We and our affiliates each reserve the right to own, in whole or in part, and manage, operate, use, lease, finance, sublease, franchise, license (as licensor or licensee), provide services to or joint venture (i) distinctive separate lodging or food and beverage marks and other intellectual property which are not part of the System, and to enter into separate agreements with you or others (for separate charges) for use of any such other marks or proprietary rights, (ii) other lodging, food and beverage facilities, or businesses, under the System utilizing modified System Standards, and (iii) a Chain Facility at or for any location other than the Location or, in the case of a Chain Facility of the same name, in the Protected Territory. You acknowledge that we are affiliated with or in the future may become affiliated with other lodging providers or franchise systems that operate under names or marks other than the Marks. We and our affiliates may use or benefit from common hardware, software, communications equipment and services and administrative systems for reservations, franchise application procedures or committees, marketing and advertising programs, personnel, central purchasing, approved supplier lists, franchise sales personnel (or independent franchise sales representatives), etc.
