Common use of Other rights and obligations of the Authority Clause in Contracts

Other rights and obligations of the Authority. Upon termination of the Contract for any reason whatsoever, the Authority shall: a. be deemed to have taken possession and control of the Project forthwith; b. take possession and control of all the Works, materials, stores, implements, construction plants and equipment on or about the Site in relation to the Project without any encumbrances. c. be entitled to restrain the Contractor and any person claiming through or under the Contractor from entering upon the Site or any part of the Project; d. take possession and control of all Approvals with the Contractor in respect of Project; and e. execute such deeds of conveyance, documents and other writings as the Authority may reasonably require for conveying, divesting and assigning all the rights, title and interest of the Contractor in the Project, including manufacturers’ warranties in respect of any plant or equipment and the right to receive outstanding insurance claims, to the extent due and payable to the Authority, absolutely unto the Authority or its nominee.
