Common use of OUT OF TOWN TRIPS Clause in Contracts

OUT OF TOWN TRIPS. (a) When an employee is required to carry out an assignment outside the Regional Municipality of Ottawa-Carleton, off-duty time spent in travel will be reimbursed at the normal overtime rate to be taken in pay or time off. (b) Exclusive of trips to Aylmer, Ontario, when an employee is required by the employer to take a course outside of the Regional Municipality of Ottawa-Carleton, off-duty time spent in travel will be reimbursed at the normal overtime rate but can only be taken on a time off in lieu basis. (c) When an employee is required to carry out an assignment outside the Regional Municipality of Ottawa-Carleton, such employee shall be entitled to payment for:
