Common use of Outside Business Activities Clause in Contracts

Outside Business Activities. During the Employment Period, Executive shall not, without the prior written consent of the Company, engage in any other business activity, with or without compensation. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Executive shall be permitted to spend a reasonable amount of time on civic, charitable, and other non-commercial activities, and activities related to Executive’s investments, provided such activities are consistent in nature and scope as exist on the Effective Date and do not interfere with his duties and obligations under this Agreement.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, Executive shall be permitted to spend a reasonable amount of time on civic, charitable, and other non-commercial activities, and activities related to Executiveinvestments in real estate, service on other boards consistent with the Company’s investmentspolicies in that regard, and a construction business provided such activities are consistent in nature and scope as exist on the Effective Date and provided all activities listed in this sentence do not interfere with his duties and obligations under this Agreement.
