Outside Investigator Sample Clauses

The Outside Investigator clause designates an independent third party to conduct investigations related to the agreement, such as inquiries into alleged misconduct or disputes. Typically, this clause outlines the process for selecting the investigator, their scope of authority, and the standards they must follow, ensuring impartiality and expertise. Its core function is to provide a neutral mechanism for resolving sensitive issues, thereby promoting fairness and credibility in the investigative process.
Outside Investigator. If an investigator is appointed pursuant to the Procedures in Appendix B, the investigator must meet the following qualifications: a) demonstrated experience as an investigator, with particular preference given to investigators with experience in OH&S harassment investigation; b) the same qualifications as those for the Outside Mediator as identified in Article 6.6.5, paragraphs b, c and d.
