Common use of Outside Work Clause in Contracts

Outside Work. The Employer and the Union agrees that any employee who engages in the manufacture or repair of tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, gauges, models, and/or experimental work for a company other than the Employer without advance approval of the employer shall be subject to disciplinary action ranging up to and including discharge. The Employer will give to the Union the pertinent facts of all cases of discharge which occur as a result of this Section.

Outside Work. The Employer and the Union agrees agree that any employee who engages in the manufacture or repair of tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, gaugesgages, models, and/or experimental work for a company other than the Employer without advance approval of the employer his/her primary employer, shall be subject to disciplinary action ranging up to and including discharge. The Employer will give to the Union the pertinent facts of all cases of discharge which occur as a result of this Section.
