Common use of Owner Approval Clause in Contracts

Owner Approval. The Architect/Engineer shall submit any subconsultants, separate consultants, or subcontractors to the Owner for prior written approval. The Owner has the sole discretion to withhold its approval. The Owner shall not be liable to the Architect/Engineer in any manner whatsoever arising out of the Owner’s objection to a proposed subconsultant, separate consultant, or subcontractor.
