Common use of Owner-Directed Changes Clause in Contracts

Owner-Directed Changes. Owner Parties may order Contractor to price and determine time impacts of, at any time, a change in the scope of Work, by submitting to Contractor a reasonably-detailed written statement setting forth the nature of the change. If Contractor determines in good faith that Owner Parties’ change will (a) increase or decrease the Contract Sum or (b) impact the dates for Substantial Completion set forth in the applicable Construction Schedule, Contractor shall promptly furnish Owner Parties with detailed information setting forth the cost and time impacts of the change in accordance with Section 10.
