Common use of Owner-Supplied Goods Clause in Contracts

Owner-Supplied Goods. Construction Manager acknowledges Owner may supply the Project certain Owner-Supplied Equipment and Materials. Construction Manager shall cooperate with Owner Parties and shall provide information and assistance as Owner Parties may reasonably request to investigate such Owner-Supplied Equipment and Materials. Construction Manager’s assistance may include obtaining alternate bids such that Owner Parties may understand the cost of potential Owner- Supplied Equipment and Materials versus the cost of those same goods supplied by Subcontractors.‌ 4.8.1 If Owner elects to procure Owner-Supplied Equipment and Materials for the Project, Owner Parties, together with Construction Manager, will develop an agreed upon responsibility matrix for the same. However, unless Owner and Construction Manager otherwise agree in writing, the Work shall include coordination, handling, inspecting, preparing, installing, commissioning, and testing such Owner-Supplied Equipment and Materials. 4.8.2 Owner and Construction Manager agree they will sign amendments and other documentation necessary to memorialize their agreement to matters related to the Owner-Supplied Equipment and Materials.
