Common use of Owner’s Allowance Account Clause in Contracts

The Owner’s Allowance Account is available at the discretion of Contract Administrator to cover increases to the scope of the Work due to differing site conditions, reconciliation of Direct Construction Cost after bidding, errors and omissions in the Contract Documents, or Owner-requested changes.
