Common use of Owner’s and Contractor’s Protective Liability Clause in Contracts

Owner’s and Contractor’s Protective Liability. The Contractor shall purchase Owner’s and Contractor’s Protective Liability Insurance for and in the name of the State of Connecticut. This insurance will provide a total limit of one million dollars ($1,000,000.00) per occurrence for all damages arising out of injury to or death of all persons and out of injury to or destruction of property in any one accident or occurrence and, subject to that limit per occurrence, a total (or aggregate) limit of two million dollars ($2,000,000.00) for all damages arising out of bodily injury to or death of all persons in all accidents or occurrences and out of injury to or destruction of property during the policy period.
