Common use of Owner’s Designated Representative Clause in Contracts

Owner’s Designated Representative. HISD shall designate a Representative authorized to act on HISD's behalf with respect to the Project. HISD or such authorized representative shall render decisions in a timely manner pertaining to documents submitted by the A/E in order to avoid unreasonable delay in the orderly and sequential progress of the A/E's services. Such decisions, or the presence of such representative at the site, shall not at any time relieve the A/E, in whole or in part, from any duty or responsibility placed upon the A/E under the terms of this Agreement.
