Common use of Owner’s General Duties Clause in Contracts

Owner’s General Duties. 2.2.1 The Owner shall timely compensate the Professional in accordance with the Contract for Professional Services. 2.2.2 Unless otherwise required to be provided by the Professional in its scope of services, Owner shall secure and pay for all Project testing. 2.2.3 The Owner shall review documents prepared by the Professional. Review by the Owner shall be to ensure that DASNY projects are code compliant and technically sound, and to ensure that the Contract Documents are clear and understandable, and generally consistent with the Owner's intent. No review of such documents shall relieve the Professional of any of its responsibilities.
