Common use of Owner’s Right to Modify Clause in Contracts

Owner’s Right to Modify. Notwithstanding the Project Schedule, Owner has the right to modify or otherwise change the sequence of the Work and Contractor shall comply therewith and adjust schedules accordingly. If Contractor believes such modification or change causes a delay or acceleration in the completion of the Work, Contractor shall provide written notice to Owner in accordance with Sections 11.6 and/or 11.8 below. Any such modifications or changes in sequence applies only to scheduling and shall not be construed to mean a change in the method or means employed by Contractor for the execution of the Work.
