Common use of Owner’s Right to Order Clause in Contracts

Owner’s Right to Order. Uncovering of Any Work. If any of the Work is covered, concealed or obscured by Design/Builder in a manner consistent with its obligations under this Agreement, it shall, if required by Owner, be uncovered for inspection. If such Work conforms strictly with the Agreement, the cost of uncovering and proper replacement shall by Change Order be charged to Owner. If such Work does not strictly conform with the Agreement, Design/Builder shall pay the cost of uncovering and proper replacement.
