OWNER’S RIGHT TO RECORDS 2. 6.1‌ The Contractor’s records, which shall include but not be limited to accounting records, written policies and procedures, subcontractor files (including proposals of successful bidders), original estimates, estimating work sheets, correspondence, schedules, change order files (including documentation covering negotiated settlements), and any other supporting evidence necessary to substantiate charges related to this contract (all foregoing hereinafter referred to as "records") and shall be open to inspection and subject to audit and/or reproduction, during normal working hours, by Owner’s agent or its authorized representative to the extent necessary to adequately permit evaluation and verification of any invoices, payments or claims submitted by the Contractor or any of his payees. Such records subject to examination shall also include, but not be limited to, those records necessary to evaluate and verify direct and indirect costs (including overhead allocations) as they may apply to costs associated with this Contract.

  • Right to Reject The Department reserves the right to accept or reject all proposals, or separable portions thereof, and to waive any minor irregularity, technicality, or omission if the Department determines that doing so shall serve the Department’s best interests. The Department may reject any proposal not submitted in the manner specified by the solicitation documents.
