Common use of Ownership by CCI Clause in Contracts

Ownership by CCI. All work product developed by Contractor under this Agreement, including designs, technical data, reports, blueprints, drawings and customized tooling and dies, shall be CCI’s property and may be used, disclosed, or transferred by CCI in any manner it finds appropriate, other than providing them to a competitor of Contractor for the purpose of helping that competitor develop competing bids against Contractor. Any and all work product shall be considered “Work for Hire” under applicable U.S. Copyright laws and be turned over to CCI upon request or upon completion or termination of Work under a Purchase Order. Contractor will hold the same in confidence pursuant to the terms of Section 13 and will not use it for any purpose other than the performance of the Work.
