Ownership of Telecommunication Terminal Equipment. The terminal equipment located at a given facility is owned by the Customer. The communication medium (leased telephone circuits) is considered to be owned by the Customer. Therefore, the Customer is responsible for the restoration of the failed communication medium. The terminal equipment located at a switching station is owned by the Transmitter.
