Common use of Packing, Marking and Shipping Clause in Contracts

Packing, Marking and Shipping. All goods shall be suitably packed using best commercial practices, marked and shipped in a manner to adequately protect the goods in shipment and to secure lowest transportation costs unless otherwise specified by Buyer in this Order. Packing slips shall be placed in each shipment and the Order number shall be referenced on the packing slip. No packing or related charges shall be allowed except where specifically agreed and a line item is provided in this Order for such charges. Seller shall provide Buyer prior written notice if it requires Buyer to return any packaging material, and the return of any such packaging material shall be made at Seller’s expense.
