Paraprofessional Services Sample Clauses
The Paraprofessional Services clause defines the terms under which paraprofessionals—such as legal assistants, paralegals, or other non-licensed staff—may provide services as part of the engagement. It typically outlines the scope of tasks these individuals are permitted to perform, the supervision required by licensed professionals, and how their work is billed to the client, often at a lower rate than that of licensed practitioners. This clause ensures transparency regarding who is performing work on the matter and helps manage costs by allowing routine or administrative tasks to be handled by appropriately qualified, but less expensive, personnel.
