Common use of Parent Involvement Clause in Contracts

Parent Involvement. a. The Provider shall offer open houses, workshops, home visits, family nights and parent-teacher conferences to parent(s)/guardian(s). Prior to the start of the school year, the Provider shall notify the Early Learning Principal of the schedule for such parent/guardian education events. b. The Provider shall ensure that parent(s)/guardian(s) have input into their child(ren)’s educational program and care. c. The Provider shall offer parent(s)/guardian(s) the opportunity to volunteer in the 4K Program; however, parent(s)’/guardian(s)’ volunteers must be approved by the District pursuant to Board Policy 353.1. d. The Provider shall be responsible for all personnel costs related to or arising out of the use of parent(s)’/guardian(s)’ volunteers. e. The Provider shall send out monthly newsletters to parent(s)/guardian(s).
