PART TIME UNIT MEMBERS RETIREMENT PLANS. 7.11.1 Effective July 1, 2014, the District shall offer part-time Unit Members two retirement plan options: STRS Defined Benefit or STRS Cash Balance for all wages paid on or after July 1, 2014. Those employees who previously selected the Accumulation Program for Part-time and Limited-Service Employees (A.P.P.L.E.) may continue to participate in the A.P.P.L.E. program if they so choose.
