Common use of Partial Acting Pay Clause in Contracts

Partial Acting Pay. Where an employee is temporarily required to accept a portion, but not all, of the core duties and responsibilities of a senior position, the employee shall be paid two (2) pay steps above their rate of pay provided this does not result in a higher rate of pay than would have been paid for full acting. In such cases, the employee would be entitled to a rate of pay equivalent to full acting pay.
