Common use of Partial Invalidation and Severance Clause in Contracts

Partial Invalidation and Severance. In the event that a Court Order, Judgment, Texas Attorney General Opinion, or arbitration decision, which is final and non-appealable, or which is otherwise allowed to take effect, which order, judgment, opinion, or decision holds that the right of access to the information contained within the 143.089(g) files of Officers granted by this Article or the public dissemination of information pursuant to this Article, results in “public information” status under the Texas Public Information Act of the information contained within the 143.089(g) files of an Officer, the provision or provisions resulting in such a change in the status of the 143.089(g) file shall be invalidated and severed from the balance of this AGREEMENT.
