Common use of Participating Provider Clause in Contracts

Participating Provider. A provider who has contracted with the health plan to deliver medical/behavioral health services to covered persons. The provider may be a physician, hospital, pharmacy, other facility or other healthcare provider who has contractually accepted the terms and conditions set forth by the health plan.
