Common use of Past Due Accounts Clause in Contracts

Past Due Accounts. If your account becomes past due, we will take the necessary steps to collect this debt. If we have to refer your account to a collection agency, you agree to pay all of the collection costs which are incurred. If we have to refer the collection to a lawyer, you agree to pay all costs and fees, including but not limited to court costs and attorney’s fees, incurred by us in pursuing collection of your account. In case of suit, you agree that venue may be in either Marin, San Francisco or San Mateo County.
