Paternity/Parent Leave. Fathers and other “parents,” as defined by the FMLA, other than the birth mother may take up to eighty (80) hours or ten (10) days of leave within three (3) months of the birth of their child. Leave days granted under this Section will be deducted from the teacher’s accumulated sick leave.
