Common use of Patient Rights Clause in Contracts

Patient Rights. A. CONTRACTOR shall comply with all applicable patients’ rights laws including, but not limited to, the requirements set forth in California Welfare and Institutions Code, Division 5, Part 1, sections 5325, et seq., and California Code of Regulations, Title 9, Division 1, Chapter 4, Article 6 (sections 860, et seq.). B. As a condition of reimbursement under this Agreement, CONTRACTOR shall ensure that all recipients of services under this Agreement shall receive the same level of services as other patients served by CONTRACTOR. CONTRACTOR shall ensure that recipients of services under this Agreement are not discriminated against in any manner including, but not limited to, admissions practices, evaluation, treatment, access to programs and or activities, placement in special wings or rooms, and the provision of special or separate meals. CONTRACTOR shall comply with Assurance of Compliance requirements as set forth in Exhibit D and incorporated by reference as if fully set forth herein.
