Pay Calculations. (a) For the purpose of calculating overtime and vacations, an employee who qualifies for payment for a general holiday will be deemed to have worked eight (8) hours if on an eight (8) hour shift schedule or twelve (12) hours if on a twelve (12) hour shift schedule on the general holiday. (b) A holiday allowance for a holiday not worked shall be computed by multiplying by eight (8) [for eight (8) hour shift schedule employees] or by twelve (12) [for twelve (12) hour shift schedule employees] by the minimum hourly wage rate as in Exhibit “A” of the employee's regular classification.

Pay Calculations. Early Childhood Family Education teachers and School Readiness/Bright Beginnings teachers will have their base salaries calculated twice annually. The salaries will be based on registration enrollments and projected earnings. The salaries will be effective mid-September through December 31 and from mid-January through May 31. Any additional hours worked during a pay period will be added to the base salaries and paid on the following payday. Earnings will be reconciled in mid-January and at the end of the school year with payments made during the semester, and adjustments will be made in final paychecks consistent with such reconciliation.
Pay Calculations. For the purpose of pay calculation, approved vacation, sick leave or any other leave with pay shall be included as actual hours worked, subject to the following: (a) All employees shall be paid the hours worked times the hourly rate as contained in Classification Appendix “A”.
