Payment for Overloads Clause Samples
The 'Payment for Overloads' clause establishes the terms under which additional compensation is required when a party exceeds agreed-upon limits, such as capacity, weight, or usage thresholds. Typically, this clause specifies the conditions that trigger extra payments, outlines the calculation method for such charges, and may provide examples like exceeding a vehicle's weight limit or surpassing contracted service usage. Its core function is to ensure fairness and accountability by compensating the service provider for excess use, thereby discouraging overuse and clarifying financial responsibilities.
