Common use of Payment of Check Clause in Contracts

Payment of Check. Off or Direct to Union: Employees may tender the initiation fee and monthly membership dues by signing the Authorization for Check-Off of Dues Form, or may pay the same directly to the Union.

Off or Fees or Direct to Union: Employees may tender the initiation fee and monthly membership dues by signing the Authorization for Check-Off of Dues Form, or may pay the same directly to the Union. In the event that an employee does not join the Union, said employee may voluntarily pay a monthly service charge (referred hereafter as “service fee”) in the amount equal to the regular monthly dues as a contribution toward the administration of this Agreement by signing a Service Fee Form or may pay the same directly to the Union.
