Common use of Payment of Disputed Payment Obligations Clause in Contracts

Payment of Disputed Payment Obligations. If the Owing Party disputes an amount due, including payments in kind, under an invoice or other documented obligation to pay under this Contract, it shall, within the payment period of the invoice or other documented obligation to pay, inform the Invoicing Party in writing of its objection, setting forth with specificity the amount disputed and the reasons therefore. If Parties fail to amicably resolve the dispute, either Party may seek arbitration in accordance with Sub-Article 41.
