Common use of Payment of Rentals Clause in Contracts

Payment of Rentals. Lessee covenants to promptly pay all rentals when due and payable. A late charge of ten (10%) per cent shall be added to any payment of rental or additional rental which is more than 10 days past due in order to compensate Lessor for the extra administrative expenses incurred. If Lessor shall pay any monies or incur any expenses in correction of violations of the covenants herein set forth, the amounts so paid or incurred shall, on notice to Lessee, be considered additional rentals payable by Lessee with the first installment of rental thereafter to become due and payable, and may be collected or enforced as by law provided in respect of rentals.
