If you are employed in Canada, for purposes of the Award Agreement, the date of termination of employment will be the last day of actual and active employment. For the avoidance of doubt, except as may be required by applicable minimum standards legislation, no period of notice or payment in lieu of notice that is given or that ought to have been given under any applicable law or contract in respect of such termination of employment that follows or is in respect of a period after your last day of actual and active employment, if any, will be considered as extending your period of employment for the purposes of determining your entitlement under this Agreement.
