Payment to Subcontractors Within Seven Days. The Contractor must make payment to its Subcontractors within 7 days of receipt of payment from the City for each invoice, but only if the Subcontractor has satisfactorily provided goods or services or completed its work or services in accordance with the Contract Documents and provided the Contractor with all of the documents and information required of the Contractor. The Contractor may delay or postpone payment for a to a Subcontractor when the Subcontractor’s work or materials do not comply with the requirements of the Contract Documents, the Contractor is acting in good faith, and not in retaliation for a Subcontractor exercising legal or contractual rights.
