Common use of Payment to Subcontractors Within Seven Days Clause in Contracts

Payment to Subcontractors Within Seven Days. The Contractor must make payment to its Subcontractors within 7 days of receipt of payment from the City for each invoice. Provided the Subcontractor’s performance has met the terms of the Contract Documents, and that Subcontractor has submitted its request for payment to the Contractor with such documentation as is reasonably necessary to substantiate such performance, the Contractor shall xxxx the City for such performance when the Contractor is first authorized under the payment schedule of the Contract to submit an invoice to the City for such performance. Contractor may only invoice the City at the rates contained in the Contract Documents.
